Anadrol (Oxymetholone)

Initially developed as a drug to treat osteoporosis and anemia, Anadrol is a synthetic anabolic steroid that is commonly made a part of bulking cycles and considered to be one of the strongest androgenic steroids available.

Also known as Oxymetholone, Anadrol is a Schedule III drug that is best known for its ability to stimulate growth of muscle in malnourished or underdeveloped patients and is even indicated for patients diagnosed with health conditions that require improved red blood cell count or to provide relief to patients suffering from bone marrow. Anadrol has a bioavailability of 95% and it also has a half life of 8-9 hours. The active ingredient in tablets of Anadrol is oxymetholone and the inactive ingredients include povideone, magnesium stearate, lactose, and starch.

Oxymetholone, marketed as Anadrol, is used by amateur and professional sportsmen, especially those who want to make a name for themselves in the world of Powerlifting and bodybuilding, for its ability to promote dramatic improvements in the levels of muscle mass, nitrogen retention, body strength, protein synthesis, and aggression. Also known as A50 or A-bombs, this anabolic androgenic steroid can be purchased online without a medical prescription, in different forms, including capsules, pills, and injections.

One of the biggest advantages of using this steroid is that it can dramatically lubricate the joints under heavy loads or during intense workouts. Anadrol Side Effects

The abuse of Anadrol or its use for purposes other than medical may lead to health conditions like hepatitis and cirrhosis or hoarseness, changes in menstrual cycle, growth of facial hair, and acne. It may also cause persistent or frequent erections, decrease in seminal volume, bladder irritability, and aggravation of acne. Regular X-ray examinations must be performed for Anadrol users after every six months to examine bone age for evaluating the rate of bone maturation and comprehensive effects on the epiphyseal centers of androgenic anabolic steroid therapy. 

Users of this steroid (in heavy doses) are expected to undergo examination for polycythemia while patients with anemia are to be examined for ascertaining the serum iron and iron-binding capacity.
